Cookie policy

This page describes the cookies and similar technologies used on piren-bar.se. How we handle personal data more generally is set out in our privacy policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They are used, among other things, to remember choices you have made, and sometimes to follow how a site is used. The browser's local storage works in a similar way and is covered by the same rules.

2. Cookies piren-bar.se uses

Necessary

Your choice in the cookie settings is saved in the browser's local storage under the name “wl-consent”, so that you are not asked again on every visit. It holds only your choice, the time, and which version of this policy you decided on. It stays until you clear your browser or until the policy is updated — at which point you are asked again. No other necessary cookies are set by piren-bar.se.

Analytics

If you accept “Analytics” we load Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager (container GTM-TD4ZZ5X2, measurement G-4DBJE2JBJC). Only then is googletagmanager.com contacted at all — decline and nothing is fetched from it, not even an anonymous signal.

Google then sets the cookies _ga and _ga_4DBJE2JBJC, which stay for up to two years. They give your browser a random id so that several page views can be counted as one visit, and they measure which pages are viewed, where you came to us from, and roughly where in the country you are. We receive neither your name nor your email address that way, and we do not use the data to contact you. The data is processed by Google under Google's cookie policy and may be transferred outside the EU/EEA.

Marketing

We currently use no marketing cookies. The Google Tag Manager container is prepared for advertising measurement, but no such tags are switched on. If that changes they will load only after you accept “Marketing”, and they will be listed here before they are put to use.

3. Content from other services

• Table booking (Bokabord/WaiterAid). A script from app.bokabord.se loads on every page so that the booking can open in a window over the page instead of sending you elsewhere. It is needed for table booking to work at all and is therefore treated as necessary. Once you go on to make a booking it is Bokabord that handles the data, under their own policy. If you have accepted analytics, your Google Analytics id is passed to the booking as well, so that we can see the booking came from the site.
• Google Maps. The map on the Find us page is loaded from Google only when you choose “Show the map”. Google may then set cookies of its own under Google's cookie policy. If you do not show the map, nothing is loaded from Google.
• Google Fonts. The Raleway typeface is fetched from Google Fonts. Google sets no cookies for this, but your IP address is sent to Google when the font is fetched.
• Social media. The links to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn open those services. No content from them is embedded on piren-bar.se.

4. Consent log

When you make a choice in the cookie settings it is recorded in a consent log held by our web platform, Weblooks, so that we can show consent was obtained (GDPR, article 7(1)). The log holds the time, the choice you made and the version of the policy it referred to.

5. Changing or withdrawing your choice

Use the “Cookie settings” link at the foot of every page. You can also clear the browser's storage for piren-bar.se, and you will be asked again on your next visit.
